‘Cats Clinch on Tuesday!

The ValleyCats clinched their second consecutive Stedler Division Title with a victory on Tuesday night.

Evan Grills turned in a clutch performance in limiting the Cyclones to just two runs in six innings of work. Grills recorded a season high eight k’s and did not issues any free passes.

The ‘Cats broke it open in the third inning as they plated three to take a 6-2 lead. Ronnie Mitchell led the way with two hits, including a big R.B.I. triple. The offense also displayed some patience working seven walks against the Cyclones pitchers.

Gonzalo Sanudo’s eighth save of the season closed it out and paved the way for a celebration in front of the home crowd!
