Superheroes Night at “The Joe” featured special appearances by some of our favorite super friends, including: Batman, Superman, Spiderman, Wonder Woman, and even one of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Sunmark FCU was the game sponsor and distributed cowbells to help SouthPaw and fans cheer on the ‘Cats.
The pre-game ceremonies featured a special on-field recognition for the Employees of the Homestand within each department. This included the Employee of the Month, John Riegert, who was honored with a ceremonial first pitch. Keep up the good work John!
Despite being threatened by rain from the onset, we were able to get in a full nine innings. The ValleyCats scored in the seventh on a Preston Tucker single to break a 4-4 tie. That would prove to be the deciding run as Tri-City held on to claim game two of their series against the Scrappers.
Join us for a special 11:00 AM matinee game on Monday! This is your last chance to see the first place ValleyCats before the All-Star break. The team will be on the road or off until August 15th.
