‘Cats Open 2012 NY-Penn League Tonight

The ValleyCats open their 2012 NY-Penn League season tonight at 7:00 pm in Burlington, Vermont taking on their Stedler Division rivals, the Vermont Lake Monsters.
Taking the hill for the ‘Cats will be Vincent Velasquez, a right hander making his first start since 2010 after spending the 2011 season rehabbing from Tommy John surgery.
Opposite Velasquez will be Deyvi Jimenez, a right hander who spent last season pitching for the Vancouver Canadiens of the Northwest League.
