The first ever Game Show Night was a hit at “The Joe.” The staff was highly identifiable thanks to their Price is Right name tags.
In addition to the usual great staples (pre-game catch and kids run the bases), the ‘Cats debuted some brand new promotions including Chuck It in a Bucket, presented by BootLegger’s on Broadway. Let’s Make a Deal took place on the field in front of the third place dugout.
A modified Cash Cab was featured with a trip around the warning track.
Longtime fan, Marge Favro celebrated her 83rd birthday with us today. Happy Birthday Marge!
On the field, the ‘Cats took care of business in a game that lasted just 2 hours and 9 minutes. Jonas Dufek blanked the Ironbirds through six innings and Zach Johnson provided the offense with his first professional home run and 3 RBIs.
The ValleyCats complete the homestand tomorrow night and can take the series with a win. The theme for Monday is Healthy Living Night presented by Subway. The always-great Price Chopper fireworks will entertain the crowd following the game.
